Name: Anonymous on Jan 26, 2013Comments: A huge amount of flats are being built here, but Camberwell and Peckham are still stuck with meagre transport links. The London Overground from Denmark Hill is nice, but we need a tube to hook us up to Central London. The strain of the growing population on public transport is terrible and needs to be alleviated not with a tram (as I heard rumour of - building it will cripple traffic on the Walworth Road) but a tube extension.Flag

Name: Shaun Quigley on Jan 27, 2013Comments: The case for improved public transport in south east London is well known and accepted. Extension of the Bakerloo line following option 1 of TFL's previous published options with a new station at Peckham rye common would provide immense benefits to residents of SE London.. A Peckham rye common station would be a hub for Peckham, east Dulwich, honor oak and nunhead. The current national rail provisions are stretched. The overground east London line runs at capacity already at peak times, demonstrating the huge need for improved services here.Flag
