Express Bus Service for Waterbury Residents

The petition

Waterbury, CT is a centrally located metropolitan area with a population of approximately 110,000 and growing. This fact lies in opposition with the complete lack of adequate public transportation for those seeking connecting bus and train service at major hubs like Bridgeport and Fairfield. Without enhanced service waterbury residents are left only with the option of the costly train service provided by Metro North which provides only sporadic service with 4 outgoing/incoming trains per day. Please support this petition to asking the CT Governor's Office to subsidize and/or formulate express bus service to Shelton, Bridgeport and Fairfield. This increased service will improve property values and foster the growth of Waterbury, a/k/a 'The Brass City' CT.
