It has come to our attention that most all citizens in the Pocatello area are paying to much in property taxes, water/sewer services and are harassed constantly with ridiculous city ordinances and regulations. This petition is to eliminate the high expense of property taxes and other fees. To cut and reduce ridiculous ordinances that stifle business growth and preservation. WE THE PEOPLE now come before the Mayor, City Council Members, and County Commissioners to ask thee to do what WE THE PEOPLE ask: 1) Reduce by 50% or remove completely property taxes. 2) Reduce water/sewer fees by 50% 3) Remove and eliminate any/all ordinances that stifle current and new businesses.
