We the undersigned urge New York Landmarks Preservation Commission to expand the boundaries of Tribeca's Historic Districts using the new boundaries suggested by the Tribeca Trust at www.tribecatrust.org and as shown in the attached illustration to this petition. The old historic district boundaries are not enough to protect Tribeca's economic, cultural, and architectural heritage for future generations. The new boundaries will right an historic wrong and assure that the unique sense of place here remains intact. Put Tribeca on the Commission's calendar and act quickly and pro-actively to make Tribeca whole.
