They were born in the Hockey Capital of the World. Their civic duty was to support the Toronto Maple Leafs. Instead they decided to support a team that was winning Stanley Cups. They disregarded the boys in blue, for a team that wears Red and Blue. In comparison to English football, those who support Manchester United are considered the fans that never wanted to watch a losing team, and would rather cheer for a team with a history of buying championships. The fans that support teams in Blue know that championships are earned, not bought. The fans that support teams in Blue are willing to watch a losing team, but a team that is fighting every day to win a championship. The disloyal citizens of Toronto, the Toronto media, and seemingly the rest of Canada want to see the Toronto Maple Leafs continue to lose. I, for one, will not let this stand. Beleaf in the Leafs should be regulated by municipal law. Sign this petition to send Toronto residents that don't support the Maple Leafs into exile.
