We, the fans of the Everquest Franchise, feel that the Art-Style chosen for Everqest:Next's character Avatars is not in-line with how the game itself should be portrayed. Everquest: Next is a "sandbox" MMO, and thus deserves a more mature feel and atmosphere. Therefor, we humbly ask that you fix the Art-Style to be more in-line with the Everquest Franchise of old. If you need inspiration, go back and look at the original concept art for the first Everquest. That will be your foundation for which to draw forth an amazing Art-Style that will fit the product properly! Quite frankly, everyone and their mother are doing "Cartoony" Art-Styles, and we're tired of it. John Smedley claimed that he wanted to bring innovation and originality back into the MMO Genre. So, it does not make sense for you to copy the lowest common denominator "Mainstream" Art-Style that so many have come to push onto the market. Please understand, that the Art-Style brings life and feeling into a game's world, and sets the tone for the game itself. The Art-Style chosen is JUST as important as game mechanics!!! Without one you cannot have the other!! We don't need WoW 2.0. Thank You!
