Are you happy with how evaluations are conducted? Would you like to see a change to the evaluation system? Currently, evaluation positions are given based on where the players were in the previous year. Players develop a great deal throughout the year and over the summer. We would like to see all players start off on a level playing field and get rank on skill and merit, not last year's placement. This is not a big change to the system, but a change that is necessary for fairness to our kids. All that needs to change is the initial placement. If all skaters start at 0, then the players that rank first, second and third etc, move on to the A group, the players that rank 10th, 11th and 12th etc move on the the B group. This way, all players get to compete for those tops spots - based on skill level.
