I sigh when I read "Country: Germany, Language: English" and "Country: Ukraine, Language: English". I would MUCH prefer to read "Country: German, Language: German" and "Country: Ukraine, Language: Ukrainian". I want Eurovision to make it a rule that countries MUST perform the song in the language of their country. Otherwise they ought to be disqualified. Maybe they're afraid that they won't be understood if they don't sing in English. So? When you're singing in another language it just means you have to try even more to make the audience understand what you're singing about since they won't understand it. Anyhow, surely quite a lot of the audience WON'T speak English?! If you agree, please sign this petition. Next year I want to see more than FIVE countries singing the whole song in their country's language.
