We the people choose to take back our rights to decide which song should go to Eurovision without the interference and control of RTE due to poor decision making and lack of listening to what the public wants.

We have had poor success due to a minority making decisions on our behalf and having no confidence in our homegrown and very talented Songwriters, which Ireland is renowned for.

If you agree please sign this petition for the future of Irish music and lack of support by our National Broadcaster who we would remind that is owned and paid for by the public.

We would like a say and the right for us to make the decision which was always the main reason we won the Eurovision so many times in the past.

With todays technologies it would be much easier for us to renew the old method of selection through all the Counties and the top songs performed in the final and chosen by the public.

With this petition in place we can stop the poor decisions that have been made behind closed doors and force a corporate entity to start supporting their own.

This Petitions success would lead to a greater and wider support amongst all of the up and coming Musicians and Songwriters who may never have the opportunity of being heard, whether it be Eurovision or Mainstream Radio.
