Although our pressent goverment is HELL BENT on the distruction of England and Englishness we should not support any tool that supports them in their endevours that is to say the European Constiturion or any other uninifying legisla1tion |
J. Faulks | The EEC is the biggest swindle imposed upon mankind since the advent of Communism. The sooner we get the UK out of the EEC so much the better!

Julie Tassell | Give us our referendum - if you don't you will lose even more faith in politics from the British public.
David Coomber | It is a national disgrace that Gordon Brown is reneging on the Labour Party 2005 Election Manifesto commitment to hold a referendum.
Elizabeth Anfield | Too much power is already devolved to unelected representatives in Brussels. Give the British people their say regarding the future of our country
Richard Brooks | Any agreement with Europe should only be to assist trade and never our rights to determine our own legislation!

jenkins | It is vitally important that the people of the UK are given the opportunity of a referendum, which was promised in the last labour party manifesto. I would like to see the questions drawn upby an organisation, free from politics, but the responses to the questions given by this government. That would allow everyone to judge for themselves on the key points. Based on the information gained the individual person would be asked to vote, yes/no.

Cllr. Mrs. Connie Hockley | A referendum is long overdue. The people of the United Kingdom should have the right to decide whether or not this country gets more deeply entrenched in Europe and its rules and regulations. The proposed Constitution takes even more power away from the UK Parliament and, as we are supposed to live in a democracy, the voice of the people should be heard.
Geoff STUART |
P H Newall | I think Britains involvement with the EU should be confined to Trade and Trade alone.
P.M.Castle-Smith | If the country is nor allowed a referendum, it will be an end of the UK as we have known it and any possible belief in the "good Faith" of politicians will be lost.

Anonymous | What has come to pass today is as I forsaw in the 70s when we were asked to vote on a common market - friends at the time said there was no way we would cede away our birthright /freedoms!! I'm sure the old saying 'The pen is mightier than the sword' is apt here given that Napoleon/ Hitler tried by force to take away our way of life and were defeated in battle. Communism has been(and still is ) a stealthy /insidious invasion which is prevalent throughout Europe and is the basis for much of the thinking behind an E.U. superstate. Beuracracy rules and unless we stand up for Democracy we will end up as serfs in a Totalitarian/Orwellian state. Beware Gordon Brown who will woo and promise the earth so he can have/ retain a one party state - he is first and foremost a communist and has helped to ruin this once fair land - hes a Scot with a lot of baggage who couldnt get away with what hes doing to the English in his native land.
