Cllr. Barry Edwards
Poppy Bunn
Martyn LaneRegardless of people's views on Europe, this was a manifesto pledge of the Labour government. Even though the name has changed, the constitution wording remains the same, despite being rejected by such Euro-friendly countries as France and Holland. The British people deserve their say.

AnonymousWe were promised a referendum and voted in favour of one - plainly we want one. Labour have got away with lieing about Blair not serving the promised full term but not the referendum issue as well!
JEFF BECKThank you.
vanessa churchmanI voted for free trade with Europe, certainly not to be ruled by Europe. They are the biggest money wasters on earth and Lenin must be laughing in his grave because his dreams are being realised but not quite in the way he could have imagined.

John Sydney FordWhilst hopefully having a referendum on the treaty it must be carefully worded and should also include a vote on leaving the Union

Michael Edward HeathThe Labour manifesto promised us a vote and therefore we MUST have one. It is a disgrace that the British Government should be ruled by Brussels.
david sleightLabour made a manifesto promise to hold a referendum. They should honour that commitment.
Brian BayfordThe Government is out of touch with the average person in the street and should honour the commitment in the Labour Party manifesto for a referendum on the EU Constitution

Tony CornwellGordon Brown must honour the promise of a referendum on this issue, it is the most important political issue of the last 60 years.
Jean HazellGordon Brown must grant the British people a referendum. We have too much interference from Europe as it is. More would be a disaster.
