European Citizen Fund for Ideas and Innovation
The European Union is on its brink. 25 Million unemployed, a huge unemployment rate of young people, austerity packages and missing competitiveness with in an unreasonable low wage rate and high taxes is the worst situation Europe has faced until now. The policies by the governments and the EU take too lang to grow strong fast enough. What is missing is a progressive idea to solve the problems ahead while solving those we face in daily life. The governments and the EU will not solve the problems we are facing as citizens every day. Governments never solved problems, Citizens did. It is time to activate the innovative spirit of the Citizens of Europe! The ideas and the know-how of the Citizens of Europe build this continent and are the reason for its economic and cultural wealth and progress as well as its democratic foundation. To boost these ideas and the use of the know-how of the European citizens I call the governments and the European Parliament to raise a fund of 10% of the Multi-annual Financial Framework (the European Budget see here for more info: http://ec.europa.eu/budget/explained/myths/myths_en.cfm) 2014-2020 to boost citizen initiated innovations which are in line with the Europe2020 Agenda and the Treaty of Lisbon. The goal is to enable citizens to create an added value for themselves, their families, their society, the common economy and to help the whole continent to get out of this depression of economic stagnation, austerity and political motivated economic war. The "European Citizen Ideas and Innovation Fund" can only grant money to groups of minimum 5 people whose projects are considered bringing an added value to the local, regional or European level. Either by employing people on fair payment, by investing into social societies and organisations or by adding value to the common living via interactive projects and initiatives on all of the three levels. Therefore a body would have to be put into force to administer the whole thing within the European Commission. Hans Mund
