It is obvious our planet is headed for ecological calamity, yet we deny it or -- if we care -- find there is little as individuals that we can do. Meanwhile, trillions are spent every year on wasteful, destabilizing, and destructive military forces. The UN has built a successful procedure for worldwide military action -- why not an ECOLOGICAL one? Let's tell the UN it is time to create a worldwide UN Eco Force that can mobilize to protect the world environment and eco-systems as aggressively as its military forces protects humans and nations.
