Eritreans in Libya
Petition for Advocating mobility and aide to displaced Eritreans in the Middle East and North Africa
Sponsored by Eritrean United
Eritrean refugees living in Libya and various conflict regions of the Middle East and North Africa are currently suffering significantly as these nations undergo revolutions. Abductions, murders, tortures, and sexual assaults are being reported and increasing becoming a daily threat to basic standards of life for those stranded within the region. Many Eritreans confined themselves to their homes to avoid torture yet that has not deterred countless break-ins and theft. At least thousands of Eritrean men, women and children have been reported stranded and missing while others have been killed. During these extremely trying times countless other nations have advocated and fought to protect their citizens within the region by sending various necessities such as transportation, funding and other usable goods and information. Eritrean's United encourages Everyone (regardless of demographic) to helps advocate for aide to these displaced people. Please support these people by signing the petition.
