Whereas, the City of Brampton has always been under-represented in the Region of Peel at Regional Council

and

Whereas, the Provincial Government in the Province of Ontario in the Matter of a Facilitation that was requested by The Honourable Minister John Gerretsen, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing, that was conducted by The Honourable George W. Adams, Q.C., pursuant to the Terms of Reference in a letter with attachment dated October 7, 2004 and was held in Toronto on November 4 and 5 and December 2 and 3, 2004 between:

Her Worship Mayor Hazel McCallion, Janice Baker, Acting City Manager, City of Mississauga, Her Worship Mayor Marolyn Morrison, Pat Moyle, Chief Administrative Officer, Town of Caledon, Her Worship Mayor Susan Fennell, Lorne McCool, City Manager, City of Brampton and Chair Emil ZKolb, Roger Maloney, Chief Administrative Officer, Regional Municipality of Peel

and

Whereas the Provincial Government in the Province of Ontario has chosen to set aside their very own Report that was submitted, dated at Toronto this 10th day of December, 2004 by the Honourable George W. Adams, Q.C.

and

Whereas, we the undersigned are demanding that the current Provincial Government

 in the Province of Ontario, once again refer to and implement the recommendations as submitted immediately, in 2012, as the residents of the City of Brampton have endured being discriminated against by the Provincial Government in the Province of Ontario with regards to equal representation at Regional Council in the Region of Peel.
