alistair smithDon't believe the EU negotiators are any less megalomaniac and disingenuous than their US 'brothers'... they're just better at making themselves seem diplomatic. Let's ensure that Karl-Friedrich Falkenberg's arrogance does not remain unchecked.

AnonymousDon't sign our country away - surrender our Sovereignty - to the future "New World Order" that (who?) will dictate what we could "buy or sell." The Bahamas can be a "David" before this global "Goliath." For this who are familiar with Biblical Prophecy should find all of this quite intriguing to say the least. Selah!

C. Allen Johnson - Bahamas Action NetworkEPA = pauperization programme The EU’s proposals unnecessarily go far beyond anything that has ever been asked or is required by the WTO and could have a series of negative implications to the ACP. Our campaign has sought to persuade the Bahamian Government to take a pro-active stance to ensure that trade relations between the EU and The Bahamas is fair and just and that any deals will promote sustainable development for our people and environment.
Rene HolderWe as a region need to be more aware of what economical and trade decisions are made on our behalf and the impact these decisions have on our people as a whole

rick prattI hope that the government would seriously let the citizens of this country, know what is on the fine prints in this agreement. This piece of paper is very important and we must know the real deal on the matter. We ask that they do not play politics or experts on this, and let the real bosses(the Bahamian people) decide the faith on this white paper. As one of the investors I do not understand what it is saying, and no one is telling me where my investments will be going on this agreement. So, like many others we so NO to this EPA until we get full knowledge of the agreement, and understand clearly what we are signing off too. Mr. Politician, take note, that you will be held accountable for any malfeasance, and we will demand answers for any screw-ups, you have been warned.
AnonymousWe do not want an unfair partnership with the EU that favours them much more than us! That is what USA did to them with Bretton Woods. Why should we allow them to do that to us?

Anonymousmaybe NO-EPA might be the best solution. Who will profit from it here ? Who ???
AnonymousI agree too. No means no.
P. IngrahamWe want to have strong ties with Europe and its citizens but this is the wrong way. This is not partnership. The people responsible for the current EPA text want to abuse us they are not our friends. I wonder how many Europeans know about what their governments are doing.
Cecilia Trotman AskewI would like to see our country hold a referendum just at they did with CSME which will give the people a say. Not enough public knowledge about the EPA todate.
