If you haven't known already, the EPA (US Environmental Protection Agency) has made new regulations on gas cans...and the result is very annoying. - http://themotoauthority.com/new-epa-gas-cans-suck-matrix-to-the-rescue/ I'm all for protecting our children from things like protective lids on medication bottles but now they are regulating the nozzles to where they are so hard to figure out I broke the first one spending half an hour looking at the strange device and the very vague instructions. These things are so annoying to use, and in the one I got working, it leaks gas from the nozzle and actually seems more dangerous than the normal/old ones. And as I soon found out, the old (normal) type gas cans are now not allowed to be produced and sold anymore. First we are now in the process of being forced to use mercury containing CLF lights, also our light sockets are now "protected" making it hard to plug things in (wasn't the plug-in plastic cover's enough?), and now we not able to use normal gas cans. Maybe next they will take our matches away... (not to mention we can own guns). Sign the petition and let the EPA know they need to have less influence and impact on our rights to safety, privacy, and our rights to personal responsibility on buying and selling products and using them in a safe way.
