According to a reliable source from John Williams Fan website the 2CD set of the Attack of the Clones Soundtrack is \'completely finished\'... but Lucasfilm refuses to release it! The CD has around 40 + minutes of extra material mostly from the beginning of the movie. It does exist and it was about to be released very early-on but Lucasfilm said no to it. Not Sony. It was completely finished and put together, so it\'s not like it was in some stage of development.
We the undersigned, petition Lucasfilm Ltd. to reconsider releasing this complete Episode II Attack of the Clones Ultimate Edition Soundtrack to the public so that all John Williams fans & Star Wars fans may enjoy listening to this stunning music on an unedited 2 CD set format. There have been Extended & Ultimate Editions of EVERY Star Wars movie Sountrack except for Episode II Attack of the Clones. Please keep a good thing going and release this complete Ultimate Edition Soundtrack. Thank you.
My name is Scott Johnston & I am merely a dedicated Star Wars fan that has been inspired by the Music of John Williams for almost my entire life. I just want to see the labors of his efforts on the Episode II Soundtrack make their way to a CD format in their entirety so that fans can purchase and enjoy listening to this stunning music outside of watching the film. After a reasonable period of time, I will forward this petition to Steve Sansweet, Director of Content Management & Fan Relations for Lucasfilm.
