Name: Reginald Hamilton on Jul 4, 2010Comments: I was incredibly surprised when I learned that Sony decided to end it's online support for EOJ on PS3 at the end of Septmember. If anything I thought Sony would be supporting EOJ on PS3 even more which sadly it hasn't since the release of Set 3 in 2008. I was abundantly grateful when EOJ PSP was released. That was the reason I finally bought a PSP and have been having alot of fun with it. But I fully expected the rebalancing and new cards that was in EOJ PSP to be ported over to EOJ PS3. I would have been excited to see the 4 Saints rendered with PS3 graphics. I also wanted to see EOJ be incorporated with new technologies, such as selecting virtual cards with the Playstation Move and watch how Sony would creatively and artistically show summoning creatures in 3D! But now I see the lack of online support is jeopardizing a promising future EOJ PS3 still could have. And speaking of support, you may look at my PSN and see that I've only played a couple of games of EOJ PS3 online so you may be wondering why I would be upset that the online portion is going away. If, however. you looked at my youtube account, which is regdoogieeoj, you'll notice that I have been a major supporter of EOJ by showing online replays of matches, showing the robustness of the game, and introducing people to the game that I love. Without online support, I won't be able to get replays and won't be able to promote EOJ on forums and youtube. I've supported EOJ in ways that nobody else has, not to mention how much $$$ I spent to get a full set of cards. Whether or not Sony really received a profit with card sales, if I spent a good amount of $$$ getting cards to support the game, I would expect Sony to do the same with keeping the servers running and providing updates. I don't know if you understand all the potential that EOJ has, even just with it's online replay sharing feature. Games like Halo 3, Super Street Fighter 4, and EOJ on PS3, all feature replay saving, and with that you can create your own ingame "TV Channel" showcasing user experiences with the game. At the end of any online EOJ match, ranked or casual, have both users rate the match. Then when other users with the game log in online, they can see what replays were uploaded for that day/week/month and sit back and watch matches based on their ratings and learn from them, or just be entertained by them. Something like this hasn't been done correctly in my opinion, but EOJ already has the content to have this done right and usher in a new way of game entertainment. I fully expected Sony to support EOJ, not go in the opposite direction. And if you need help in this day and age to see what direction EOJ should take to be profitable, ask the people that have supported the game practically since day one, there are plenty of us out there. I'm sure we'd give great feedback regarding online features, ranking, and physical card support on EOJ PS3. And like I've said, I'm well aware of EOJ PSP, I have it and bought the 3 expansion packs released in the USA and I know online support for that will still be available. If EOJ PSP had the ability to save and share replays and the 5 cards that were not released in the USA, it would be perfect. But I did not expect EOJ PSP to replace EOJ PS3, if anything I thought EOJ PSP meant there was still some life in EOJ PS3. But with the decommissioning of online support, it's like a worst fear come true. Please Sony, do a complete 180 and start truly supporting EOJ on PS3. I was dazzled by the potential this game had when I first saw it and I hope you realize that it still has much more potential to show.Flag

Name: Mark Errington on Jul 13, 2010Comments: EOJ, and GT5 (still waiting for that), was the reason I bought a PS3 on day one. This is not your normal £40/£50, my Son and I have spent at least a £1000 on collecting all the cards. Unlike a normal game where the online part is a bonus/extra with EOJ the online component is ESSENTIAL as the built in AI is so easy to beat for an experienced player. Please at least keep the Custom match option or patch the game to be p-2-p like it’s PSP cousin.Flag

Do not close the online servers please! Would be a big mistake for both your business and against players that we have spent a lot of money for EOJ.Flag

The online features are critical to the enjoyment of the game and I urge Sony to listen to their loyal customers and find a reasonable solution to maintaining the availability of servers for the game. Thank you.Flag

Name: Stefan Johansson on Jul 20, 2010Comments: I have played this game from the very beginning as I find it to be something new, fresh and original. EoJ Legends is in a way another game. Slightly more balanced "cards", but the ranking sux (where do you go when you've reached 9999?) and the card game feeling is totally lost. Please do not kill EoJ by removing its back bone; the servers are essential to make this game playable!Flag

Name: Joe Lakitus on Jul 26, 2010Comments: SONY: Check my PSN account, user Azgard12. I have spent well over $1,000 in various PSN purchases, from Trine to Dragon Age. Tons in Rock Band download songs and expansion packs for various games including this one. Map packs, extra levels, and all sorts of stuff. I spend between $300 and $500 in digital content on the Playstation Network each year. If this loyality money is not going to be supported, I have no reason to spend any further money on games that will not be supported, I will not be spending any more money on the PSN Store. Please do not close servers.Flag

I ask Sony to take into account the players from "The Eye of Judgement." We will appreciate forever.Flag
