We the under signed student body and alumni of Oakland Community College are hereby stating that we wish Oakland Community College to install environmental sustainability and education training programs to be taught and implemented at Oakland Community College. 1. Install more solar or wind power devices to offset the schools electrical uses; for example solar lighting on the street lights in the parking lots. 2. To implement and enforce a recycling program of each of the staff and student, such as paper recycling and plastic bottle separation and recycling. 3. To install hydration stations in each section of the building for access of the students to reduce the use of plastic bottle use. 4. To implement an educational program designed to teach green job skills for employment practices such as designing alternative energy sources and awareness programs.
