Enhancement of Gun Safety and Gun Control

62 Signatures Goal: 20,000

OUR HEARTS ARE BROKEN BY THE TRAGIC EVENTS WHICH OCCURRED IN NEWTOWN, CONNECTICUT.

Such events have re-ignited the conversation regarding the enhancement and enforcement of Gun Safety and Gun Control laws here in the United States.

This petition is meant to help give both our President and our Congress the courage to know that we as a nation respectfully request that they act on legislation to expand background checks, make ALL gun purchases by non-licensed dealers illegal, enforce weapon registration and require mandatory gun safety classes.

If you would choose to stand up for our nation and demand action for Gun Safety now, rather than later, please join us by adding your signature to this petition.

Thank you.

I support this petition. Require a background check on all gun sales AND require a background check whenever a gun is sold by an unlicensed individual. All gun dealers should be required to get state licenses. Finally, prohibit possession of guns in bars.
