The school is officially moving forward and I am still in shock that this actually happened. None of this would have been possible if you had not decided that this vision was worth fighting for. I will be watching closely to see how things develop but for now I just …
Seeing the way this has gathered momentum leaves me completely speechless. The credit for this energy belongs entirely to those of you who believed in this vision before anyone else did.

As coming new arrivals to London in 2016 & with our son already attending a bilingual English-Chinese school overseas, we fully support & applaud this great initiative.

I think by engaging with the children at young age to learn a new language, they can flourish. I also like the idea of Chinese maths teaching, they build solid foundation for later learning.

This is a brilliant idea and will go some way to remedying the woeful foreign language provision we currently have in schools.

As a school governor witness the setting up and running of a new free community school, my only concern is about the resource (in particular, the teaching expertise). It would be interested to see how the British Value embedded in the curriculums. Given the failure of Marco Polo Academy in North London, the parents should be really careful of the long-term plan.Of course, personally, I completely support this brilliant plan and strongly believe it would benefit the local children.

I graduated in mandarin and I now work in education as a EAL teacher in secondary schools in London. I think having a free bilingual school is a fantastic and inspiring idea.

Mars Y,
We are submitting an application to the Department of Education for the establishment of the school. The school needs support from the local community, shown in the form of signatures, to be able to get into the next stage in the free school application process.
I hope this explains the purpose.
