The Chelsea captain John Terry will be allowed to lift the Champions League trophy should Chelsea beat Bayern Munich. The England defender is suspended for the Big Cup final following his red card for kneeing Barcelona's Alexis Sánchez in the back during Tuesday's semi-final second leg. Although Chelsea expect Terry to attend the game in Germany, he will not be permitted to sit on the bench and will have to watch from the stands, just as Paul Scholes and Roy Keane did with Manchester United in 1999 when the midfielders were serving one-match bans. However, UEFA have now decided that, despite having to watch the match from the stands, Terry will be able to join in with any post-match celebrations, and lift the Big Cup. Roy Keane was a team player. John Terry is not. Off all his disgusting antics over the last few years, EBJT never learns when he is wrong, and as such doesn't deserve to lift the cup.
