England have been banned by FIFA from wearing a Poppy on their kits during the Spain game this Saturday at Wembley. The day before Remembrance Sunday. The reason FIFA have given for denying the wearing of the Poppy, is so that we do not as a nation offend any German players with the symbol. Germany have in fact backed our campaign. It is a disgrace that our fallen heroes cannot be remembered and recognised in a way that they fully deserve.
