The Petition

Please sign petition to Illinois Governor and Attorney General that 83 year Gene Marmor be removed to safety, be independently evaluated and have his rights, like being able to see his friends enforced.  He was never allowed to be in court and the evidence of his nursing home abuse was suppressed.

Gene Marmor was found abused on 3-6-10 at Regency Rehabilitation Center, in Niles, Illinois.  Records show, he'd been poisoned, treated for cancer he didn't have and his daughter-in-law who had him sent there after he fully recovered from hypoglycemia, lied on facebook that he had a brain injury and should have saved his money when his friend asked why he was so neglected.  See the facebook conversation in the video.  He began walking on October 15, 2009, after his daughter Loretta flew in & helped him exercise his legs in bed, but she'd return and he'd not been given enough food and had to be hospitalized, repeatedly.  According to published Department of Health report on 3-23-12, the administrator still is not following the law and properly investigating reports of alleged abuse.

Judge Maureen Connors & the Ad Litem who filed a falsified report misconducted court & left Gene Marmor at Regency.  He did not receive wound care and his abused toe was amputated.  He has been exposed to MRSA & Venereal Disease & constant falls from illegal use of medication.  The administrator has him isolated & he cannot see or get calls from all his local friends & his daughter Loretta who had moved there & had been helping 847 hours, with few exceptions.  The administrator directed an out of state daughter the court illegally named his permanent guardian to agree to this.  This other daughter didn't even know his diagnosis, his medications or the administrator before she flew in & accepted this order, she being an attorney, knew was illegal.  Having treated him so badly has moved him into a higher Medicare reimbursement category for Regency, without any requirement to actually provide him more care.  Not a decent loophole the taxpayer and elderly residents get taken for.
