In order to preserve the earth and the living beings on the earth, and to help stop global warming, I am asking you to use less energy, turn off and unplug electronic devices and try to use your cars less. By doing so, the world would last longer, people would be healthier, and you wouldn't have to pay as much for gas, energy and phone bills. The amount of people in the United States that develop lung cancer annually is 226,160 people.The percent of people who develop lung cancer due to air pollution out of all people who develop lung cancer is 30-50%. By using cars less, that number would decrease much more and less people would develop the disease. The United States spends $241 billion just on home energy bills a year. By cutting back the amount of energy you use in your house hold, you will be able to save so much more money. The average American spends over $2000 a year on gas. By cutting back on how much you drive and taking public transportation, you will save a lot of money on gas bills every year. So by saving energy and using less gas, people will be healthier and save so much money, so I am asking you to please sign this petition to help you and to help save the environment.
