Name: John Greiner on May 5, 2011Graduating Year.: 2009Comments: I hope UCLA ensures that the right thing is done. Our basketball program is becoming more and more of a stopping ground for amazing California talent to make their way to the NBA. We need to make the UCLA basketball program as much of a "home" as possible in order to hope that players want to spend their extended college careers here. Moving the seats is just one of many things that will push the program more toward a money making industry rather a unit representing all Bruins. Unfortunately money trumps all...Flag

Name: Joel Gardner on May 5, 2011Graduating Year.: 1966Comments: I was at UCLA from '64 to '66 as a grad student and then from '72 to '80 as a staff member, and I saw every game I could, from Big Lew's debut to Big Bill's last game at Pauley. For all those years, the student section was something special, deliberately the best seats in the house, as they are for nearly every major power. Changing the section is an insult to the memory of John Wooden and JD Morgan, the greatest coach and AD ever. They knew where the students belong. Why doesn't Dan Guerrero?Flag

Name: Parker O'Brien on May 6, 2011Graduating Year.: 2009Comments: I understand the university's need to raise funds in light of the recent cut backs, however considering the lack of atmosphere already prevalent at Pauley, relocating the students behind the backboard would mitigate any minor home court advantage our Bruins hold. The university should be foremost concerned with the students and not placating rich alumni or reducing the students ability to enjoy one our university's most prestigious traditions.Flag

Name: Teri Ramirez on May 6, 2011Graduating Year.:Comments: Are you seriously going to take away from a tradition that dates back to the most legendary coach in NCAA history?!?! Not basketball history, NCAA HISTORY!!! Get it right, Morgan Center! By giving the students a place in Pauley, you are investing in UCLA's future. Satisfied students become donating alumni who will support programs at UCLA for years to come.Flag

The student section facing the camera was one of the main reasons that everyone was so excited about the renovation of Pauley Pavilion as I recall.Flag
