Name: Kevin Saechao on May 4, 2011Graduating Year.: 2012Comments: I'm taking the new seating arrangement as a way to generate more revenue through tickets made available to alumni, the public, and whomever else may be interested. This is will be an embarrassment to the student body, the true bruin fans who come and support their team.Flag

Name: Alex Vallado on May 4, 2011Graduating Year.: 1987 and 1990Comments: It does not serve our interests now or in the future. We at UCLA are apathetic on a day in day out basis. The students are the only source of inspiration and enthusiasm when we play Cal., Wazzu, or some no name school at the beginning of the year. Students in front of the camera is good for UCLA in an era where television and appearance governs! the benefits are immeasurable.Flag

Name: Andre Rocha on May 4, 2011Graduating Year.: 2007Comments: Please restore student seating back to the sideline. I was a student during the first two Final Fours of the 2000s, and I can tell you that the electricity and the excitement of the student section during those glory years would not have been same if we were relegated to behind the basket. MAKE THE STUDENTS YOUR PRIORITY!Flag

Name: John Ellis on May 5, 2011Graduating Year.: 2006Comments: I was very disappointed to hear that the Morgan Center was planning on taking away the students sideline seats. College athletics should be about the students first and I strongly urge the Morgan Center to return the students to their rightful place on the sideline.Flag

Name: Mark Geiger on May 5, 2011Graduating Year.: 1982Comments: The students need to sit on the sidelines and not behind the basket, in order for Pauley to truly reflect that homecourt atmosphere for the players, the fans, and broadcasts.Flag

Name: John Lim on May 5, 2011Graduating Year.: 1971Comments: One of the best experiences that any UCLA student can have is to sit on the sidelines to cheer on the Bruins. To exile the students to the proposed seating area, allegedly to "enhance" the student experience, would be a travesty. Too often, Pauley has not provided much of a home court advantage to the Bruin teams. Moving the students away from the sidelines would only exacerbate this situation.Flag

Name: Eric Walder on May 5, 2011Graduating Year.: 2009Comments: We're UCLA, not "another Pac-12 school," students on the sidelines is an intense environment thats great for our teams. and it is in no way a move that would benefit students or student athletes. If the students need to move in order for us to regain our status as an elite program, fine, but don't lie to us Morgan Center.Flag
