If you really care about making the new Pauley into a feared place for visiting teams and crazyer than Cameron indoor stadium then keep the students on the sideline. No substitutes. I'm with the students on this one baby!!Flag

Name: Jesse Romo on May 4, 2011Graduating Year.: 1998Comments: I remember having the opportunity to sit on the sideline as a student. It only happened a couple of times because of the limited seating. But when I was there, it was awesome! The intensity was never duplicated when I had to sit in the higher sections. I was so happy to see the student section given more room across the sideline but am extremely disappointed to see this new move. This would just take away from the college experience as well as sell our student-athletes short from not having an as energized student Den.Flag

There is too much history and tradition of the thousands of students that came before and after me. There are far too many victories tilted in our favor becasue of the passion and energy that came from the sideline student section at UCLA. This really is a no brainer...Flag

Showing student enthusiasm on TV (with the new contract, hopefully much more TV), will draw additional ticket sales revenue due to the desire to be at a fun and exciting event. Put the BAND right in the middle of the action as well!Flag

Dan Guerrero needs to step up and do the right thing here and honor the agreement. There have been a number of times I questioned the logic behind the moves in our athletic dept. This short sighted and BAD pr move is definitely one of them. GET IT RIGHT!Flag

Though I did not attend UCLA I remember my dad getting tickets to see the Walton gang and what a thrill it was to be in Pauley. The students deserve to be on the floor to cheer the team on and create a exciting atmosphere in the pavillion. To disrespect the the Coach's vision and the great student fans is disgusting. The Morgan Center and administration' s total lack of interest, respect and disdain for the two programs that all fans are interested in is very sad. Thank you for your passion as a Alum and for UCLA athletics. GOD BLESS you and your familyFlag
