I cannot believe that the student experience is so totally disregarded. If they can only think in terms of dollars, they are very shortsighted as these current and future students will be contributors after graduation.Flag

Name: Michael Kravitz on May 2, 2011Graduating Year.: 2000Comments: Limiting dissent, online or otherwise, is unethical and an act of unstable cowardice. Without its students, UCLA does not exist. Thus punishing UCLA students in the present to raise a meager profit will weaken the school in the future. For the good of the university, please return the student section back to the prominent location that is and was most appropriate. Thank you.Flag

Name: David Chen on May 2, 2011Graduating Year.: 2011Comments: I have been going to basketball games since my freshmen year and the best part of being a student is experiencing the effect we have in pumping up our Bruins on the court while distracting the visitors for the entire game not just behind one backboard. Having the seating where it currently was for the 2010-2011 season rewards those students who want to not only watch the games but give energy to our team. Those down in the den are more energetic becasue they stayed and camped out for those seats. Its worth it to the students, so please leave it as it is.Flag

Name: Derek Cordova on May 2, 2011Graduating Year.: 1995Comments: Some of my best memories from UCLA include cheering for what would become a National Championship team with my fellow students at Pauley Pavilion, seated courtside. It are those memories which encourage me to continue to attend games to this day and to support UCLA Athletics each and every year. If we want UCLA to continue in this Championship tradition- in both the present and the future- we must provide students with that same opportunity to experience UCLA basketball up close and personal, courtside, where they belong.Flag

Save the student section!Flag
