Name: Allan Hollick on Sep 10, 2009Comments: I commute to Inverness and currently spend 20 minutes each day crawling over the bridge. This is only going to get worse as more homes are built on the Black Isle and in Ross-shire. Please expedite improvements to the roundabout at the south end of the bridge as this is totally inadequate for a modern town by-pass / city feeder road.Flag

Name: LESLEY GANLY on Sep 15, 2009Comments: I HAVE TRAVELED TO AND FROM INVERNESS DAILY OVER THE LAST SIX YEARS TO WORK AND HAVE FOUND THE VOLUME TO TRAFFIC HAS TRIPLED. MY EMPLOYER HAS HAD TO ACCOMMODATE MY ATTENDANCE ON TIME BY MOVING MY SHIFT TO AN 8.00AM START IN ORDER FOR ME TO GET ACROSS THE BRIDGE IN TIME. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE A BRIDGE FROM NIGG TO CROMARTY AND THEN OVER THE MORAY FIRTH TO THE INVERNESS RETAIL PARK I LIVE IN HOPE.Flag

Name: TRACY SMITH on Sep 19, 2009Comments: The queues that have grown to an unacceptable level over the last 10 years needs to be sorted out, many of my friends and family have to travel into Inverness for their work and are having to set off from their homes, approx 35 miles away, at 7.30 a.m. to reach their work for 9 a.m. this is ridiculous and must be sorted out as a matter of priority!!!Flag

Name: Leo Wildi on Jan 5, 2010Comments: The hold ups at the roundabout to the south of the Kessock Bridge became a real and long term problem once the exit to Stadium Road was opened, and has worsended ever since. As the main A9 trunk roadcrosses this junction, through traffic is held up with all the local traffic that needs to change direction at the roundabout. The lie of the land would make this ideal for an A9 flyover of the roundabout. If funding is not available for a long term development, a cheaper less permenent stop gap should be erected as a matter of urgency. Failing this, the roundabout should have traffic light controls to adjust time intervals to correlate with traffic flows at different parts of the day.Flag
