Name: Leigh Smythe on Jul 23, 2008Comments: HRC is not worthy of our support as long as they support a non-inclusive ENDA. Any award from HRC is an award for bigotry. Please don't accept or participate!!Flag

Name: Cyndi Richards on Jul 23, 2008Comments: Bishop Robinson, As an intelligent and compassionate man of faith that has personally suffered the "outrageous slings and arrows" of intolerance and bigotry, it should make absolute sense that you would stand up against the "wolf in sheep's clothing" which IS the Human Rights Campaign. Until they show through their ACTIONS that they intend to live up to their publically declared mission statement of "equality for ALL", to show them any manner of support seems counter-intuitive to everything you and your aprtner have been through, and all that you stand for today. Just say KNOW!Flag

Name: Tina Seitz on Jul 24, 2008Comments: As a religious transgender woman who had the honor of hearing you speak in Detroit earlier this year, I urge you to not attend this function. HRC has for too long (much prior to the ENDA flap) ignored transgender needs, ignored our concerns, and focus on the needs of the L's and the G's at our expense. HRC, in claiming they represent us all, needs to actually do so. Please respect the trans community and decline their invitation until they show that they too are inclusive to the entire community.Flag

Name: June LaTrobe on Jul 24, 2008Comments: Sir, I know you are aware that the protections, stripped from the ENDA bill offered protection to a wide range of people. I also know that you are aware that Trans folks are signifacally more likely to lose their job, or suffer violence that either a gay man or a lesbian. Help us, the lesser of them. JuneFlag
