"End of an Era" by Oliver Boyd and the Remembralls is a stirring song about how Harry Potter has affected our lives. The lyrics are below. I think it is only fitting that a wrock song be the end credit song. Has Harry Potter impacted anyone more than the fans? No, so it should be music from the fans that end the series. Harry Potter was indeed an era, and it taught us so much, about everything from hopes and dreams, to death and despair, to prejudice and sacrifice. This song is catchy, and actually a good song, considering some wrock. It seriously is moving, and it highlights all the good times we had during the adventures of the trio in seven books, riding on the train, joking with the twins, and how, even though it's fictional, it'll always be amazing. The song is a bit upbeat, and might not perfectly wrap up the series, since it the ending is very intense. But, it's perfect in every other way. It's a nod to the incredible fandom that has pretty much made Harry Potter the franchise it is. It's a nod to the casual audience, showing them how much this 7-book series has changed lives. And, most of all, it's a nod to Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, and all the other characters that have shaped these past two decades. I think this should be the ending credit song. It may not be perfect, but I think it's close enough. Don’t you ever wonder what Will happen when it ends? How can we let go of the Ones who we call friends? And I know, it’s only a story, but For so many it’s more than that.
