| 4479 | Claire Oxley Gluck | As long as horses can be transported from Texas to Mexico where they are slaughtered in a horrific manner (see San Antonio News article and photos on the subject) my two very beautiful, well bred and well trained horses are at risk of being stolen and transported to Mexico to be eaten. These horses have been trained for years by my husband and me and before that, professionals in Europe. What a tragedy it would be for these well trained athletes to end up on a French dinner table! Imagine!
It is truly criminal for ANY animal to face such a death as horses in Mexico face. No horses should be allowed to cross the US-Mexican border unless they are going to participate in an international competition supervised by the competent authorities. |

| 4483 | Dawn | I have two beautiful horses. I dont know why people cant understand the beauty of these animals and what they do and did for us. Horses are a spiritual animal and deserve to be loved. I believe the Lord gave us these horses to take care of. I am sure he is disappointed in what is happening to them. It is a shame. I cant even look at mine without crying out for the others. I had two years ago as a child I am certain thats were they ended up. I miss them so much today. But, my loveable ones now give me hope and they will always have a home with me. |
