   Comments: I fully support this petition as a person who was in a WWASPS program for 17 months and was in an RTC in New Mexico for 3 months. Somthing needs to be done to protect children. Abuse in these places is a huge and overlooked problem.

   Comments: My grandson, who is 15 is in one of these facilities in PA. He only has a misdemeanor II charge, but broke his probation by a school problem. He has ADHD and asthma, and we are scarred to death about this. He is placed for 6 months from March 24, 2010. This is no place for him.

   Comments: These places are supposed to be a safe place for our children, they are anything but safe. My two sons spent time in placement homes only to be abused by staff members. The staff all stick up for each other. i only placed my children there as a way to get them help that I felt I couldn't provide, although I did my best. These people are all corrupt individuals with no morals or values..ect. My piece of advice to any parent who thinks they are helping their child by placing them in auberle or any other facility, you will be only hurting them. These acts of violence towards our children has got to stop. We trust these places and they do nothing but hurt our children, not help them.

    Comments: I have experienced the horrors of these terrible places that claim to help children, they are nothing but prisons for our troubled youth. Two of my sons(now adults) have been abused by these so called safe facilities both physically and mental abused. If I had the resourses I have today and could do over again I wouldn't have gone this route. I trusted these people and this is what they did to my boys, These places need to be fully investigated and SHUT DOWN before another child is hurt!!!!!
