| 1 | Isabelle Zehnder | As the founder of the Coalition Against Institutionalized Child Abuse, it is my goal to ensure that children institutionalized in residential treatment facilities receive the respect, love, and kindness that they deserve, and that congress will act to ensure this happens. It is time that the neglect, abuse, and deaths come to an end. The current tough-love industry focuses on tough but forgets the love. It is time for major reform to this industry. |

Si je pouvais faire quelque chose de plus, merci de me le dire. |

| 44 | Jordan Riak | The near-total absence of governmental regulation and oversight of locked residential "treatment" facilities where children are warehoused closely parallels conditions in the pre-FDA days of the Wild West when itinerant pitchmen peddled fake remedies to the gullible. But there is one important distinction. When people became ill as a result of using a homemade brew that proved toxic, the peddler who sold it would have his cart smashed and be lucky to get out of town alive. The "troubled-teen" industry runs no such risk. When their product fails -- as it usually does -- they blame the customer. And there are no refunds. |

| 47 | Scott Davidson | Something needs to be done about the behavior modification industry. WWASPS, etc, are oppressing young people in a terrible way. Thanks, Isabelle, for all your great work. |
