| 154 | Anonymous | The Gas prices are totally manupulated. 3 major automobile gaints are shrinked and economy is under recession. Rising gas prices is the reason for this. Many of them are jobless. As Spring & Summer approaches gas prices will again cross the Dollar. The Gas companies know when to raise as people travel too much during summer. The conservative Govt. is also not doing anything to reduce the gas prices. They are totally blind, deaf and dumb to this issue. Whenever there is drop in oil prices around the world, the gas prices in Canada never drops. If the Oil Companies has to reduce the price they will reduce by 1 or 2 cents. When they have to increase it will be by 2, 3 or 4 cents. There has to be some alternative. There should be stop on the dependence on oil. Instead vehicle run on battery or electricity should be the option. The oil companies do not show any mercy on the people nor towards the economy. They are busy making profits. Its their monopoly. They know people have to buy gas on any condition at any price. This has to be stopped. How long this will go on. There should be protests or strikes. |
