University Towers Apartment Complex consist of three (3) buildings at 191 Willoughby Street, 175 Willoughby Street and 122 Ashland Place, located in Down Town, Fort Greene, Brooklyn, NY. These three buildings was once a residential haven for professors at Long Island University until the flight of “whites” to Long Island. In approximately late 1980’s the apartment buildings were taken over by University Towers Associates thus setting in motion the wheel of conversion to “Co-operative” apartments with a questionable approval by then New York State Attorney Eliot Spitzer under the Non Eviction Conversion Plan. At the helm of University Towers Associates (Sponsor) is Michael Rothenberg one of four (4) partners who has connections in the New York State Unified Court System, as well as other Courts including the Eastern Federal District Court, The New York City Police Department, The United States Postal Services and all New York City, State and Federal agencies. With help from the superintendents (2) who live rent free on the property multiple tenants were harassed, their apartment broken into and theft of their property. This was done to drive fear and intimidating the Rent Stabilized tenants to move out. This was coupled with the mass Eviction of tenants from their homes. Many of these Evictions were done without a Valid Warrant of Eviction by New York City Marshalls who were a part of the Scam. Many of the elderly majority African American females who have lived in University Towers over 30 years were thrown into local Nursing Homes with the clothes on their backs and their homes and all their property stolen by the alleged landlords and the onsite employees. On January 28, 2005, Miss Pat Senior, a tenant who had lived in University Towers for over 25 + years, Rent Stabilized fully furnished 2 bed room home (apartment) was broken into by Bruce Frankenberg an Out of County New York City Marshal. Marshal Bruce Frankenberg did not have a Valid Warrant of Eviction signed by any judge of Kings County Civil Court nor any Court in the State of New York in violation of New York City Administrative Code Title 26- 521. Miss Senior’s home was not only broken into by the marshal, he also changed the locks to her apartment door and stole almost the entire content of her home, this includes her personal papers, monies, TV’s, beds, books, furniture, mails, valuables, Court Files, ID etc. She has also been unable to File a Report with the local 88th Precinct, or any Police or precinct in Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan or with Police Commissioner Ray Kelly Office since January 29, 2005. She has not seen the inside of her home since about January 24, 2005. Miss Senior’s has made multiple Complaints to various City, State and Federal agencies including DA’s Charles Hynes, Morgenthau now Cyrus Vance, New York State Attorney Generals, New York State Governors and they have all remained Silent because she believes most of her Complaints have been intercepted by insiders connected to the alleged landlords and his team. Miss Senior has been rendered homeless and almost the entire content of her home a two (2) bedroom fully furnished apartment stolen by the NY City Marshal and the alleged landlords, none of whom have ever been to Court or ever shown proof that they own the property in any Trial in any Court. Please help us by exposing theses Crimes and send a CLEAR message to DA Charles Hynes and other Elected Public Officials that no one is ABOVE the Laws and the Constitution of the State of New York Dated July 1, 2011
