Name: Ben Hennesy on Oct 3, 2006Comments: The media is hardly souless, and it isn't as if this isn't an issue in performance circles. It only makes sense that this would be an issue television would take seriously. It might not be your typical sit-com formula, but the absolute blackout that we've seen in years past makes one worry that the industry is contributing to the general ignorance of anorexia that is so prevalent in american society today. It's time to stop being a part of the problem and to step up and face the hard realities that confront Americans today. Best wishes.Flag

Name: Elizabeth Caudy on Oct 9, 2006Comments: While i feel dubious about any attempt to regulate TV because it's all a bunch of stinky horse manure anyway, I am signing this because stigma does affect everyone with a mental illness, and that's good enough of a reason for me!Flag

Name: TIffany Eifert on Dec 19, 2006Comments: I have an eating disorder, and I HATE it when people go and show what its "really like" on t.v. Its the FARTHEST thing from the truth!!! Sure talking to friends and family helps, and unless your like me and one of your friends is actually a therapist that talks to young girls and guys about eating disorders, then they really aren't that big of a help. They cant make you understand why you do what you do... if anything about an Eating disorder should be on T.V is should be real life stories, or at least realistic!!!!Flag
