On September 11th, 2001, hijacked airplanes were crashed into the WTC complex in New York City, the Pentagon in Washington D.C., and a farmers field in the northern U.S.

It created a legal climate that is volatile, unstable, and dangerous.
Unscrupulous politicians, special interests, and political complexes would go on to use this horrifying tragedy as an excuse for an unprecedented power grab.

These unscrupulous elements have attempted to destroy the U.S. Constitution, the U.S. system of checks and balances, and the Bill of Rights to the U.S. Constitution, including but not limited to:

Passing the Patriot Act, which allows warrantless wiretapping and searches of American citizens

Passing the NDAA which allows indefinite imprisonment of American citizens without charge

The creation of the Department of Homeland Security, whose purpose it is to spy on American citizens, harass them, and inspire fear and paranoia, and to crush dissent

The creation of vast sums of secret prisons where prisoners are tortured without mercy in the most heinous of manners imaginable

The implementation of warrantless "virtual strip search" backscatter "naked scanners" which are dangerous and can cause cancer

The Executive branch has claimed the authority to assassinate any person, anywhere on the globe, without reason, even where such a person is a U.S. Citizen, and has exercised this "authority" on U.S. Citizen Anwar Al-Awlaki

A congressperson has claimed it would be a "good idea" to use the dangerous and inaccurate drones domesticly to spy on American citizens a la Skynet in the movie Terminator

Then-president George W. Bush used 9/11 as an excuse to launch an unnecessary war in Iraq under false pretenses and knowingly bad intelligence, all for political reasons. Since then, America has been turned into a war machine: War in Afghanistan, War in Iraq, War in Libya, proposed war on Iran all at the costs of hundreds of thousands of human lives, many of them American, and billions upon billions of dollars added to the one trillion dollar national debt.

In light of this chaos, Wall Street has been glimmering with glee as it loots whatever it can from the political turmoil.

Weapons contractors and mercenary groups have made billions and billions of dollars.

Banks and the Real Estate industry have made billions of dollars on real estate scams and deliberately bad advice

Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley,  and similar groups continue to gleefully pile money by boatload into war funds, campaigns for hawkish candidates, and to any other interest they think will increase the turmoil, and when that turmoil comes as usual they present themselves as the solution in a vile racket

Even Hollywood has a vested interest in continuing this terrible breach of American principles: Hollywood has made billions and billions of dollars selling films about the war effort.

Over this decade, the war effort has steadily put more and more cash into the hands of the very rich few, and has stolen it right away from the lower and middle class, and sometimes even from other members of the Upper Class who weren't so game on this little deal.

Congress has filled itself with vile hawks who wish nothing but to expand the defense budget even more in their twisted and vile version of Keynesian economics under the false excuse that it will bolster the economy. It does the opposite, and thousands of people have lost homes, jobs, even their lives to the recurring economic disasters this sham has caused.

As long as the wars, torture and atrocities continue, America gains enemies by the boatload who are disillusioned with this system. Instead of stopping or removing terrorist threats, the War on Terror system is instead manufacturing terrorists by making them angry due to the constant atrocities.

We, the undersigned, think it is time to end this vile system and restore the country back to a state of stability, principles, and common sense.
