To travel to the United States, Polish citizens must apply to the United States government for a visa. These are recognized as NIVs, Nonimmigrant Visas.This costs upwards of $160 per traveler and if rejected by the United States government, the money is nonrefundable. (Yes, people do get rejected. Example: my own family). This process also includes an interview at the U.S. Embassy with an appointment, forms, current and all previous passports, and recent photographs.

For me, a United States citizen to travel to Poland: to date passport.

I'd like to use this petition to raise awareness of the issue and rally support to end this one-sided practice.
