Please sign this petition to end the one percent town tax required by all residents of Williamsburg Ohio. The regional income tax agency is an outside entity which taxes residents of the village of Williamsburg, Ohio. This is money taken from us that will never return. Every year, payroll deductions increase as well as local tax levies for the school districts. Our own federal government now spends more money than they have. All levels of government should live within their means financially. Most of us are now paying higher weekly payroll deductions from our paychecks. And most working class residents have not seen an increase in their salaries in years. No one has extra money to pay one percent of annual earnings in addition to property taxes, and home owners insurance. The village of Williamsburg receives Federal funding as well as state funding. Please sign this petition to put an end to this one percent town tax.
