If you are a student that uses the Washburn Student Recreation and Wellness Center, it is more than likely that you have heard an abundance of a certain type of music: Country music. Studies have shown that the way in which country music relaxes you, that it does not increase your heart rate and therefore does not inspire you to exercise in the way that other genres do. If you are tired of having a monopoly on the choice of music when you work out, sign this petition to have country music removed!
