The Church of England is the official religion of Canada. However, Canada's government also officially endorses multiculturalism which comes with the side effect of freedom of religion. The purpose of this petition is to draw awareness to this fact and to demand that the government of Canada, and if necessary the entire Commonwealth stop endorsing one religion over the other as it is patently contradictory to other official policies in a globalized world.
