We the people, are offended by the abuses suffered by rodeo animals. We know that rodeo supporters will say they love their animals, but these "animal lovers" are hiding electric cattle prods behind their backs. Some of these tortured animals are fed steroids and/or amphetamines. These animals do not deserve this inhumane treatment. They do not need to be shocked. They do no need to be trucked hundreds or thousands of miles to be mistreated. Too many animals must be put down every year due to rodeo abuses. Too many rodeo "stars" suffer also. They are animals, too, and thus need the protection offered by outlawing and eliminating this institutionalized torture. It is not the 1880's anymore.
