An oppression of couture-proportions is ravaging our land.Countless creative-types have been afflicted with costume dysmorphia--and it is appalling.The onus of protecting these precious creatures depends upon ALL OF US...We must end mandatory kooky theme party dress codes!

We, therefore, pledge that those who might ostensibly otherwise be referred to as "performer(s)" (of any type or kind) shall not be required to subject themselves to the vagaries and whims of host(s) and/or hostess(es) and/or other(s) who believe that they possess some inherent sense of fun or whimsy that compels them to REQUIRE their party guests to don "cute, peculiar, mod, bizarre," or "theme" apparel (OF ANY TYPE, I'm not kidding...) as a prerequisite for attendance at said function(s).

HEREWITH, this petition shall serve as PUBLIC NOTICE that the undersigned, all their friends, spouses, entourage members, lovers, fans, groupies, roadies, stage managers, personal assistants, hookers, agents, and associates shall work tirelessly to ensure that "artists" will always and forever be exempted from Kooky Theme Party Dress Codes.
