Women's lives change when they have children as well as their pay. With each child their pay decreases. Women earn 7 percent less with one child and 14 percent less with two children. Overall women earn 80 percent of what women without children earn. That is why this is so important to petition and try to change.

Having children does change the lives of a mother it does not change that they are hardworking and dedicated to their jobs if not more so because they have children to provide for. This is oppressing those that choose to have children and want to be good parents. I started this petition to raise awareness that parents deserve equal treatment and pay as other workers who do not have kids.
