We the undersigned believe that the needs and rights of young children come first and foremost, before the needs and desires of any one parent. The undersigned believe that the parent known as Nadya Suleman (aka the "Octomom") has shown poor judgment by attempting to parent all fourteen (14) children herself, without the proper resources, support, training and family support. We believe that, due to the ages of the children involved, this has become an awkward and untenable situation, for this one-parent family and the surrounding community. This is one which requires intervention and future planning for the children's sake. There has been enough evidence presented on t.v. and other news sources, in our opinion, to show how this has become a negative family situation, one which has attracted acts of random violence against the family along with continuous public outrage over "welfare abuse". The wellbeing of the children come first, before anything else. We urge immediate action by the agencie(s) involved in any investigation.
