Orcas are living in bad conditions when held in captivity. Ever since the very first orca was held in captivity many places decided that it was nice to keep them for an "education" to humans. Places such as SeaWorld. The tanks the orcas are kept in are way too small for them. These animals belong in the ocean, not getting used by a company for entertainment and money. There is nothing entertaining about this. As well as no human is being taught how orcas actually live. What they see is orcas performing with what they might think brings them joy. In reality behind the performances orcas are getting taken away from their pods, suffering from serious injuries and depression, getting their teeth drilled, showing aggressiveness toward other orcas, dying prematurely from diseases, getting irritated and attacking trainers, living in a artificial "home" that isn't even close to being their natural home, and so on. These orcas don't belong in a bathtub. Yes SeaWorld stated they will be doubling the size of their tanks, but the orcas will still circle around the same tank every single day. The only change that will help is setting them free. This needs to be stop. Captivity should be part of our past not the future. We need to put an end to orca captivity.
