Recently on Stanyan street between Fulton and McAllister streets the city painted two swaths of curb red eliminating four/five sorely-needed parking spots. This was done with no no forewarning and has no apparent benefit to anyone. In fact, it only serves to compound the already very challenging street parking problem that we face in this neighborhood. Please join me in demanding that the city reinstate these spots to the taxpayers of this area and refrain in the future from engaging in this type of activity without allowing for prior, public comment via assembly with a minimum of fourteen days advance notice of any such gathering. Let's make our voice be heard by city hall! Thanks for your support.
